About the Retreat

An Authentic Path Into Kundalini Yoga

Kundalini Yoga is one of the most profound paths within the yogic tradition. Rather than seeking extraordinary experiences, it invites us to cultivate awareness, balance prāṇa (vital energy), and prepare the body and mind for deeper states of meditation.

Kundalini Shakti Sādhana at Triyambakam is inspired by the traditional teachings of the Bihar School of Yoga, informed by the teachings of Swami Satyananda Saraswati and Swami Niranjanananda Saraswati, and offered with respect for the authentic yogic tradition. Through Hatha Yoga, prāṇāyāma, mantra chanting, chakra awareness, Yoga Nidra, guided meditation, and karma yoga, participants move through a genuine arc of traditional Kundalini practice — from grounding, to awareness, to integration — with the depth of that arc shaped by the program length you choose.

Suitable for yoga and meditation practitioners, yoga teachers, and anyone drawn to the traditional path of Kundalini Yoga. No prior experience with Kundalini Yoga is required, although participants should be open to a disciplined daily routine and sincere personal practice.

“Shakti Sādhana is not about chasing extraordinary experiences — it is about cultivating steadiness, awareness, and inner transformation through the timeless practices of traditional yoga.”
An Important Tradition to Respect For a short period, exploring Kundalini Yoga's foundational practices is generally safe even without formal initiation. But for sustained, long-term practice, initiation from a qualified teacher matters — it carries the master's blessings and protection, and ensures deeper practices are introduced only once you are genuinely ready for them. This is why our programs are taught directly under Prof. Yogini Anamika within an authentic lineage, with long-term practice always built on that proper foundation.
